For Frieze Masters 2020, Craig F. Starr Gallery presents “Looking Back,” a curated selection highlighting iconic works from the gallery’s museum-quality exhibitions over the last sixteen years. Our viewing room this year includes thirty-six modern masterworks by some of the most important artists of the 20th century, including Louise Bourgeois, Edward Hopper, Jasper Johns, Donald Judd, Barnett Newman, Susan Rothenberg, Ed Ruscha, and Eva Hesse, among others. Of particular focus in this year’s booth are works by several leading figures of Abstract Expressionism, Minimalism, Conceptualism, and Pop.
